Islamic universty college of perlis was established in perlis. KUIPs which is under the anspices of the council of relegions and malay custom perlis (MAIPs), which HRH Tuanku Raja Muda of Perlis, Tuanku Syed Faizuddin Putra Ibni Syed Sirajuddin Jamalullail as the principle patron. KUIPs offer a unique and strategic programmes to produce students who are knowledgeable, etnical and good deeds. Overflow of international students in accordance with the globalization boom, supplying talent for local and international markets are among the reasons that support the existance of KUIPs. KUIPs strategic location in Golden Triangle (IMT-GT) is also important as a key success of ASEAN agenda which has been planned since the leadership of Tun Abdul Razak around the era’s 70′s. The total population of the region in excess of 70 billion is a huge opportunity that should be used as effectively as possible.
